Angatari Guild Bank Rules

Hey there! Wanna use the guild bank without driving your guildies crazy? Here's how!

This tab is easy to spot with its bright orange pumpkin icon. This is where general-purpose items go for adventuring (potions, food, etc.)

The crafting tab is where crafted materials (and gems) belong. If you had to make/prospect/disenchant the item then drop it in here! Think "bright and shiny things" like Gold Bars, Mageweave Cloth, and Greater Nether Essence.

Guild Bank Rules

1: If you put it in the guild bank (GB), expect it to disappear!

2: If you see an item in the GB that you need- TAKE IT! No one should ever complain that you took something- and if they do they need a reminder of GB Rule #1! The bank is there to help you, so let it. Chances are it won't take too long for the items you used up to reappear.

3: Materials are organized in columns. Respect the columns. Put food in the food column in the Adventuring tab. Put Silver Bars in the bars column in the Crafting tab. Dropping your items in the first available space just makes more work for others.

4: When possible, only store one stack of an item in the bank. The primary exceptions to this are potions and (to some extent) bars of metal.

5: If you have items to put in the GB but the GB already has a full stack of that item, please consider holding your extras in your private bank until the GB needs to be topped off.

6: If you are a designated Guild Craftsman (see here) then you are responsible for stocking the bank with any materials that your profession produces. For examples, enchanters should stock the GB with the materials they receive from disenchanting (after they have used what they personally require, of course.) Tailors don't produce cloth, but they frequently have extras and should try to keep the GB stocked with both bolts and raw cloth. Be sure to follow Rule #5 as you do this.

7: Be nice to your gatherers. They stock the bank with metal bars, ore, herbs, leather, and all the hard-to-find things that you need to level your profession! If a gatherer has a request for an enchantment or pieces of crafted armor- make it for him!

8: Before you complain that the guild needs another tab, check to see if some spring cleaning wouldn't free up a significant amount of space first. Also remember: a full bank is a useful bank! If it's taking too long for the bank to empty then perhaps you can help by either consuming or auctioning the extra items. The bank never runs out of money!
